We are recruiting to expand operations and looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Streaming Production team as a Producer to help our growth together.
Our Esports Producers will bring competitive gaming events to the audiences. Gaming tournaments attract thousands of spectators, both to online and offline events services. Both events need a range of content to be collected and broadcast, from on-stage hosting and in-game commentary, through post-match interviews, highlights videos and sponsored messages. As a Producer at PlayBrain, you will plan what’s needed by each project assigned thru the sales team, put together a team of creative and production, to support execute the project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, produce and manage execution of all broadcast production efforts for Heroes of the Storm esports including live events, weekly shows, etc.
- Co-work with Director and Assistant Director to deliver of a full production process, including:
- Pre-production: briefing documents for staff and talent, scheduling and call sheets, preparation of assets, and supporting technical configuration/checks.
- In-production: including the set-up and operation of equipment in the on-site esports production suite, serving as the primary producer for broadcasts.
- Post-production: regular evaluation of success/value and recommendations for future improvements.
- Production and implementation of assets to optimize the content network, including channel configuration, on-screen enhancements, integration of sponsor promotions, competitions, e-commerce, and audience engagement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate functions into the content network, including:
- Sales teamPartnerships, for commercial assets and activations.
- Marketing team:Community, for integrating content into the community, and etc. Fan Engagement, for competitions and consumer marketing/communications.
- Products: Merchandise & Licensing, for eCommerce)
- Liaise with third party agencies and suppliers, building strong working relationships and managing output.
- May require flexible and unsociable working hours and some travel, depending on the event calendar and team requirements.
Must have skills:
- Experienced in project management in the game, esports, advertising and/or event industries.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrate a hands-on approach, ability to multitask, and creative thinking in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Ability to create a comprehensive project scope, including strategy, schedule, budget, and detailed statement of work.
- Can demonstrate excellent communication skills and teamwork
- Excellent team management skills and ability to effectively supervise projects and teams.
- Fluent Japanese
Good to have skills:
- English skills / Able to communicate in English at the meeting with clients.
- Passion for games
- Experience working in an international environment
- Experience using project management tools
