2XKO Japan Series, Let's Go!!

PLAYBRAIN is proud to announce we have been selected by Riot Games as the official production partner for the “2XKO Japan Series”, the competitive circuit for Riot Games’ 2v2 fighting game, 2XKO.

Riot Games released the first details of the Japan Series today (30th January 2026), outlining the structure of the competition and the vision behind bringing 2XKO to players across the country.

Japan has a long and rich history with Fighting games and this Series sets the stage for new players and teams to emerge as the first generation of professional 2XKO players in Japan.

This project is a special one for PLAYBRAIN as we get to spend a lot more time with a new game we are very excited about, and a game genre we have a lot of passion for.

As this series evolves, PLAYBRAIN will work closely with Riot Games and the key members of the community in Japan to deliver a fun and engaging tournament experience for players, fans, and the broader fighting‑game community.
