Performance reporting for esports and game streaming

PLAYDATA obtains and retains viewer data from over 60,000 domestic gaming-related broadcast channels using its unique methods, leveraging a rich database. The services provided by PLAYDATA enable the generation of detailed analysis of specified esports tournaments as PDF reports. This allows for deep insights into various aspects of events, such as trends in concurrent viewership during the tournament period, and comparative analysis of viewer data from other esports tournaments that were broadcast at the same time.

PLAYDATA can help to address challenges related to data on esports tournaments and events, such as:

  • Esports teams that struggle to report tournament performance to sponsoring companies due to lack of data.

  • Event organizers wanting to understand viewer numbers and participating sponsors of other esports tournaments or events of the same game, in order to set benchmarks.

  • Sponsoring companies that want to determine the optimal timing for advertisements by understanding the peak viewership of the tournament, or evaluate the exposure of ads by comprehending the total viewing time.

The content of the reports provided by PLAYDATA.

The content of the PDF reports provided by PLAYDATA includes the following:

  • Changes in viewership by date

  • Changes in viewership by event stage

  • Concurrent viewers by time of day

  • Cumulative viewing hours by channel

  • Average concurrent viewers by channel

  • Competitive channel analysis

  • Competitive analysis by game

  • Statistics by date and time

The following is an excerpt from a sample report.

Discover popular streamers with our tool

Furthermore, in addition to the esports tournament reports, PLAYDATA has developed a tool that allows you to find currently trending streamers by searching and filtering by period, game, keywords, and more. This is also an open beta version, but it serves as a powerful assistant for discovering rising streamers and future trends.

The general release date for the tool itself is yet to be determined. However, it's possible to create reports evaluating the influence of streamers who participated in promotions or campaigns. We propose creating various reports tailored to your needs, so please feel free to contact us for more details.
